. >> they'll join us towards the end of the show. in the meantime, we start with the fox news alert because a deadly helicopter crash overnight leaving nine servicemen dead. it's unclear if any of the dead are americans. according to nato, four others were hurt including an american civilian. the crash happened in a province that's a taliban strong hold. the f.b.i. on its way to fort bliss, texas now where a gunman shot two women at a convenience store. the women believed to be clerks are being treated at a local hospital. military police shot the gunman dead. we don't know the identity of the shooter just yet. congress delaying a vote now on a bill to give $7.4 billion to first responders who got sick after the attacks of september 11th. a vote was expected this week but republicans objected to senator harry reid's addition of two amendments including the dream act that provides amnesty to illegal immigrants. those are your headlines. amnesty not to all illegal immigrants but to students who go to college or those who enter the military and here for five years. >> i believe senator hatch c

of the region's quickly rising waters. firefighters had to use ladders to reach some folks stranded on top of their homes. at least two people are reported dead in all of this. this storm also created a series of tornadoes in the dallas-fort worth area, reports of eight tornadoes swirling, some right through central dallas, moving over buildings, one tornado hit a shopping center, scattering debris all over the place. jenna: imagine seeing this giant dark cloud coming towards you, a helicopter tv crew caught this on camera. watch for the flashes of light by that tower on your screen there. that's the funnel cloud that is slamming into power lines. just imagine that. there were power outages, no reports of any serious injuries. that's a good thing, but quite a scary situation. >>> also check this out, also in dallas, several funnel clouds forming after the heavy rains moved out. you can see the tornadoes moving across the sky there as the sun is trying to break out through some of those dark clouds. >>> well, where are folks feeling the rest of this storm now? meteorologist janice dean is w

've been this is an enormous fire because. if you take a look at south of us, that's where the fire is going on there, it's a neighborhood that's being protected by firefighters. they're there, just in case these keupbdz winds shift again and right now they're blowing from us towards the fire, so i would say away from we are now. in a few minutes that we've been here, we've seen the flames brought down quite a bit. you can't really see flames from where we're standing at this point but certainly this is in a very tens situation in this neighborhood and frankly a lot of the neighbors have been out, trying to simply lend a hand to the police, firefighters, they've been directing traffic, telling people to stay out where they shouldn't be going, keeping cars away from the emergency personnel area where they're trying it get. this is a neighborhood on guard, watching out for each other, watching out for the emergency personnel as well. when we first got out here, as i was telling you, when we first got out here, the flames were quite a bit bigger. walk to your left here and look at that
